Haritha needs a specialist standing frame that the health system will not fund; the cost is $1,250.

I live with muscular dystrophy. My occupational therapist at Varanasi General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,250.
My current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,250 goes:

• Fitting and training sessions: $45
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $30
