Mobility fund: prosthetic leg for Vishnu in Rohini
Help Vishnu get a prosthetic leg so He can go outside without waiting for someone to push.
🇮🇳 Rohini, Delhi, India475 views
Vishnu lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Rohini Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $910.
His current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Vishnu could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $910 goes:
• prosthetic leg: $880
• Fitting and training sessions: $25
• Delivery and set-up: $5
Thank you so much.
