Mobility fund: prosthetic leg for Rey in Makati
A prosthetic leg would give Rey independence - we're $100 away.
Anywhere in the world603 views
Rey lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Makati Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
His current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Rey could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $20
• Delivery and set-up: $15
• First-year servicing plan: $65
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Best of luck, Paolo. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. God bless.
Hope this works out for you. Wish I lived closer to Monterrey so I could bring a meal.

You're not alone, Paolo. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. We're a small family in Brooklyn but we're thinking of you
Sending good thoughts. Get well soon. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless
