Mobility fund: prosthetic leg for Karan in Nashik
A prosthetic leg would give Karan independence - we're $100 away.
🇮🇳 Maharashtra, India1,152 views
Karan lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at Nashik General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Karan could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $45
• Fitting and training sessions: $40
• Delivery and set-up: $15
Every share and every dollar helps.
