Mobility fund: prosthetic leg for Jade in Ballarat
A prosthetic leg would give Jade independence - we're $6,200 away.

I live with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. My occupational therapist at the Ballarat Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,200.
My current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $6,200 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $185
• Fitting and training sessions: $260
• prosthetic leg: $5,755
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
