A prosthetic leg would give Isla independence - we are $500 away.

Isla lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Manchester Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $500. Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks. With the right equipment Isla could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $500 goes: • Fitting and training sessions: $240 • Delivery and set-up: $110 • First-year servicing plan: $150 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
