Mobility fund: prosthetic leg for Aarav in Mumbai
Aarav needs a prosthetic leg that the health system won't fund; the cost is $700.

Aarav lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Mumbai Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $700.
His current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Aarav could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $700 goes:
• prosthetic leg: $610
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
• Delivery and set-up: $30
• First-year servicing plan: $25
