Zoey lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Springfield Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $9,000. Her current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks. With the right equipment Zoey could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $9,000 goes: • Fitting and training sessions: $360 • First-year servicing plan: $135 • pair of hearing aids: $8,505 Every share and every dollar helps.
