Rebecca lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at Los Angeles General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $9,350.
Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Rebecca could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $9,350 goes:

• Fitting and training sessions: $150
• Delivery and set-up: $90
• First-year servicing plan: $360
