Mobility fund: communication tablet with eye tracking for Mercedes in Mendoza
A communication tablet with eye tracking would give Mercedes independence - we're $2,200 away.

I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at the Mendoza Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,200.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment I could speak with the people around her. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• communication tablet with eye tracking: $2,000
• Fitting and training sessions: $80
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $95
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
