Cem lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Ankara Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $150. His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment Cem could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $150 goes: • Fitting and training sessions: $55 • Delivery and set-up: $40 • First-year servicing plan: $55 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
