I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at the Jalandhar Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $600.
My current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
