Mobility fund: cochlear implant processor upgrade for Annabelle in London
A cochlear implant processor upgrade would give Annabelle independence - we're $4,450 away.

Annabelle lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at London General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $4,450.
Her current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Annabelle could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $4,450 goes:
• cochlear implant processor upgrade: $4,150
• Delivery and set-up: $140
• First-year servicing plan: $160
Thanks for reading all this.
