Priya lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Birmingham Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $7,200. Her current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks. With the right equipment Priya could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
