Mobility fund: braille note-taker for Irfan in Jakarta
Help Irfan get a braille note-taker so He can go outside without waiting for someone to push.
🇮🇩 DKI Jakarta, Indonesia1,012 views
I live with cerebral palsy. My occupational therapist at Jakarta General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,150.
My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• braille note-taker: $1,050
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $45
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

I hope things turn around soon. After 24 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
I hope things turn around soon. Don't give up. Thinking of Jakarta.
