Hathai lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Pattaya Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,750. Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment Hathai could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $1,750 goes: • braille note-taker: $1,600 • Fitting and training sessions: $65 • Delivery and set-up: $25 • First-year servicing plan: $60 Glad we found this place. - Pairoj
