Mobility fund: braille note-taker for Gül in Istanbul

Gül lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Istanbul Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,100. Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 4 weeks. With the right equipment Gül could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
