Mobility fund: braille note-taker for Eduardo in São Paulo

I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at the São Paulo Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,200. My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
