Mobility fund: braille note-taker for Basma in Mansoura
Basma needs a braille note-taker that the health system won't fund; the cost is $900.

I live with cerebral palsy. My occupational therapist at the Mansoura Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $900.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $900 goes:
• braille note-taker: $750
• Fitting and training sessions: $45
• Delivery and set-up: $30
• First-year servicing plan: $75
Every share and every dollar helps.
