Mobility fund: adapted tricycle for Aarav in Nagpur
Aarav needs an adapted tricycle that the health system won't fund; the cost is $1,250.
🇮🇳 Maharashtra, India873 views
Aarav lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Nagpur Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,250.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Aarav could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $1,150
• Fitting and training sessions: $45
• Delivery and set-up: $15
• First-year servicing plan: $40
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Wishing Aarav a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
take care. Wishing Aarav a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Greetings from Dresden
Sending love, Sita. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Nagpur.
Rooting for you, Sita. Hope the doctors have good news. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.
Take care. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Nagpur
