Minh is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in social work at the Cầu Giấy Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600.
The registrar has said Minh can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Minh has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Minh would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Minh isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Cầu Giấy Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $600 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $330
• Final term tuition: $170
• Exam and lab fees: $45
• Textbooks and materials: $55
Every share and every dollar helps.

So sorry you're going through this, Nghĩa. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Pune this morning. Thinking of Cầu Giấy.
