Mental health support for Adewale after a long hospital stay
Adewale is working through a long hospital stay and needs help paying for 10 sessions with a licensed counselor.

After a long hospital stay, I've struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. My doctor has referred me to trauma-focused CBT, but the public waiting list is 6 months, and private sessions at the Ikeja Counselling Collective cost $20 each.
I have been honest with my employer and taken some time off, but I can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions I could afford. My therapist recommends 10 weekly sessions, and I know that consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part, and I'm grateful for your kindness without judgment.
Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable.
Where the $350 goes:
• 10 therapy sessions: $280
• Psychiatric assessment: $55
• Workbook and resources: $15
Thanks for being kind about this.

Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Bergamo
Wishing you the best, Adewale. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side.
Hang in there, Adewale. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. All the best.
Shared this with my family. After 18 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
Hope things get better soon, Adewale. Looking forward to the next update. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
