Max is my rescue greyhound of nine years. On 12 August we rushed to the Fukuoka Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,800. They have stabilized Max, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Max is more than a pet - Max is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $75 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Fukuoka Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
