Maverick is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in social work at Manchester State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,000. The registrar has said Maverick can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Maverick has a first-class average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Maverick would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Maverick isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $4,000 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,600 • Final term tuition: $2,050 • Exam and lab fees: $120 • Textbooks and materials: $230 Thank you so much.
