Marisol needs a powered wheelchair that the health system won't fund; the cost is $2,300.

I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at Zapopan General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,300.
My current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• powered wheelchair: $2,150
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
• Delivery and set-up: $50
• First-year servicing plan: $65
