Maria was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in February. The oncology team at the Kraków Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Maria is 40, worked as a taxi driver until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Kraków Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $3,350 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,550 • Scans and lab work: $520 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $280 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
