Margaret needs a specialist standing frame that the health system won't fund; the cost is $450.

I live with multiple sclerosis. My occupational therapist at Kasarani General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $450.
My current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $450 goes:
• specialist standing frame: $310
• Fitting and training sessions: $50
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $65
