Márcia's final semester of a computer science degree in Caxias do Sul

Márcia is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a computer science degree at Caxias do Sul University, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,550. The registrar has said Márcia can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Márcia has a distinction average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Márcia would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Márcia isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Caxias do Sul University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $1,550 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $680 • Final term tuition: $660 • Exam and lab fees: $90 • Textbooks and materials: $120 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Samuel
