Manuel's final semester of an accounting degree in Tlaquepaque
Manuel is one semester away from finishing an accounting degree but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $1,450.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an accounting degree at Tlaquepaque Polytechnic, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a warehouse packer to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,450.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Tlaquepaque Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $350
• Final term tuition: $1,050
• Textbooks and materials: $50
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Manuel
Hope it all works out. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best
Thinking of you and your family, Manuel. Looking forward to the next update. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Take care. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. We're a small family in Munich but we're thinking of you. God bless.
