Lotus Primary School needs a youth football pitch - Kathleen's neighborhood project
A community-led a youth football pitch at Lotus Primary School that will serve 516 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 516 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $450 goes:
• Materials: $370
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Permits and inspections: $30
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Wishing you peace, Kathleen. Hope this works out for you. Wish I lived closer to Thrissur so I could bring a meal. Take care
hope it all works out, Kathleen. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
