Lotus Park needs a community fridge - Davide's neighborhood project
A community-led a community fridge at Lotus Park that will serve 149 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $1,750.
It will serve about 149 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Materials: $1,200
• Permits and inspections: $220
• Safety equipment and signage: $240
• Tools hire and delivery: $90
