Lotte needs a prosthetic leg - help us make it happen
A prosthetic leg would give Lotte independence - we're $5,650 away.

I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at Rotterdam General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,650.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $5,650 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $130
• First-year servicing plan: $270
• prosthetic leg: $5,250
Glad we found this place.

hang in there. Get well soon. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
So sorry you're going through this, Lotte. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Sending strength, Lotte. I hope things turn around soon. Blessings.
