Let's build a youth football pitch together in Tiruchirappalli
Volunteers in Tiruchirappalli are raising $550 for a youth football pitch at the old Cedar bus depot.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Cedar bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $90, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 572 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $550 goes:
• Materials: $480
• Permits and inspections: $15
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $15
