Let's build a youth football pitch together in Sylhet
Volunteers in Sylhet are raising $400 for a youth football pitch at the Lotus health centre yard.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $75, and the remaining cost is $400.
It will serve about 521 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $400 goes:
• Materials: $320
• Permits and inspections: $15
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
• Tools hire and delivery: $35
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
