Let's build a youth football pitch together in Porto Alegre
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $1,000 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Park, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,000.
It will serve about 431 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Materials: $700
• Permits and inspections: $55
• Safety equipment and signage: $95
• Tools hire and delivery: $150
