Let's build a youth football pitch together in Kathmandu
Volunteers in Kathmandu are raising $350 for a youth football pitch at the Cedar vacant lot.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 568 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $260
• Permits and inspections: $20
• Safety equipment and signage: $45
• Tools hire and delivery: $25
