Let's build a repair café workshop together in Kampala
Volunteers in Kampala are raising $100 for a repair café workshop at the Baobab vacant lot.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $100.
It will serve about 442 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $100 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $60
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Safety equipment and signage: $10
