Rides to dialysis three times a week for Eduardo in São Paulo

A rota of drivers to São Paulo General Hospital would keep Eduardo on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Eduardo has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to São Paulo General Hospital alone. After a foot amputation, Eduardo can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 34 km each way. Eduardo is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Glad we found this place.
