Let's build a youth football pitch together in Jakarta
Volunteers in Jakarta are raising $550 for a youth football pitch at the old Unity bus depot.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Unity bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 457 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Materials: $410
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Tools hire and delivery: $40

is there anything that isn't money that would help Fitria?
More neighborhoods should do this. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Hialeah.
Thinking of you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Lethbridge this morning. God bless
