81 pairs of children's shoes for the Acacia Primary School
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Acacia Primary School.
🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania442 views
I coordinate donations at the Acacia Primary School in Kinondoni. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Kinondoni, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Acacia Primary School on Monday between 9am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Acacia Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from The Hague.
Stay strong, Muthoni. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. It's not much but it's yours. Greetings from Rawalpindi.
Best of luck, Muthoni. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Sent it to 22 people at work.
