Let's build a youth football pitch together in Campinas
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $750 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Jacaranda vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $750.
It will serve about 271 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $750 goes:
• Materials: $510
• Tools hire and delivery: $105
• Safety equipment and signage: $135
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Thinking of you and your family, Regina. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Brampton.
Take care, Regina. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless
Hope things get better soon, Regina. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Likoni

So sorry you're going through this, Regina. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
More neighborhoods should do this. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Take care!
projects like this are what make a place worth living in. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.

Keep going. Shared this with my family. We're a small family in Johannesburg but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Campinas.
Stay strong, Regina. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Nottingham
