Let's build a solar-powered water pump together in Cali
Volunteers in Cali are raising $1,150 for a solar-powered water pump at the Jacaranda health centre yard.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Jacaranda health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $360, and the remaining cost is $1,150.
It will serve about 404 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Materials: $800
• Permits and inspections: $85
• Safety equipment and signage: $110
• Tools hire and delivery: $155
Every share and every dollar helps.

Take care. I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to Nice so I could bring a meal. Love from Scranton.
Good luck, Leonardo. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
so sorry you're going through this, Leonardo. Hope this works out for you. It's not much but it's yours. God bless
Thinking of you and your family, Leonardo. I hope things turn around soon.
Good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Vancouver.
