Let's build a sensory garden for children with autism together in Verona
Volunteers in Verona are raising $2,200 for a sensory garden for children with autism at Union Park.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Park, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,200.
It will serve about 375 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Materials: $1,350
• Permits and inspections: $310
• Safety equipment and signage: $260
• Tools hire and delivery: $280
