Let's build a repair café workshop together in Magelang
Volunteers in Magelang are raising $500 for a repair café workshop at the Freedom vacant lot.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 505 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $500 goes:
• Materials: $380
• Permits and inspections: $20
• Safety equipment and signage: $35
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
