Let's build a repair café workshop together in Istanbul
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a repair café workshop - we need $500 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 525 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $500 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Permits and inspections: $65
• Materials: $385
