Let's build a playground together in San Jose

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $2,900. It will serve about 187 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly.
