Let's build a free library and reading room together in Wiesbaden
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a free library and reading room - we need $2,600 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $2,600.
It will serve about 318 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Materials: $2,200
• Permits and inspections: $220
• Safety equipment and signage: $180
