Aisha is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a computer science degree at the Entebbe Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $700. The registrar has said Aisha can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Aisha has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Aisha would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Aisha isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Entebbe Institute of Technology bursar's office.
