Legal fees for Stéphane's residency renewal in Saint-Denis
Help Stéphane cover the fees of a residency renewal so He can stay with his family.
🇫🇷 Saint-Denis, Île-de-France, France1,343 views
Stéphane is facing a residency renewal. The hearing is scheduled for May, and the filing fees and the lawyer's retainer come to $1,700. Three legal-aid offices have said their waiting lists are longer than the deadline.
Stéphane has all the paperwork ready, and a caseworker at Saint-Denis Welcome Centre has confirmed that the case is valid.
If the deadline is missed Stéphane could lose the right to stay with the family and the job. The children were born here and this is the only home they know.
The money goes to the immigration attorney's trust account and the court filing office. I'll upload receipts with sensitive details removed.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Court-appointed interpreter and travel: $110
• Certified translations and document copies: $65
• Attorney retainer: $1,525
Every share and every dollar helps.
Updates from Quentin
Thank you all. We're at 16% now ($279). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the attorney and confirmed the amounts.
Quick update: $254 raised so far (15%). I met with the attorney and confirmed the amounts. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 7% funded and I made the first payment toward certified translations and document copies. - Quentin
