A laundry service in Timișoara needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after a storm that collapsed the roof.

For fifteen years I have run a laundry service in Timișoara. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $750
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $280
• Shop repairs and licensing: $210
• Working capital for the first month: $260
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

You're not alone, Laura. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Love from Amsterdam.
Stay strong, Laura. Small businesses are the heart of Timișoara. Hope you're open again soon.
Good luck. Hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Nagpur.
keep going. Hope the shop reopens soon. Thinking of Timișoara.
Stay strong, Laura. Hope you get there. My husband and I read this together. All the best
Praying for you, Laura. Hope you make a strong comeback. After 30 years in construction I know how hard it is to ask for anything.
Best of luck. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.
Small businesses are the heart of Timișoara. Hope you're open again soon. Take care.
